About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and execution-driven Activation Officer to lead promotional initiatives across both retail (off-trade) and on-trade outlets.
This is a dynamic, high-visibility field role for someone who enjoys being on the ground, driving brand presence, and ensuring impactful execution where it matters most — in the market. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of activations end-to-end, from planning and coordination to flawless execution and reporting.
The ideal candidate is organised, reliable, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to manage vendors, build strong outlet relationships, and ensure every activation reflects the brand’s standards. Key Responsibilities
1. Activation Execution (Retail & On-Trade)
- Supervise setup and execution of activations across retail stores and on-trade outlets
- Ensure POSM, displays, sampling stations, and promotional materials are correctly deployed
- Verify compliance with brand guidelines and visibility standards
- Ensure activation readiness before start time
- Remain present during key activation hours
- Prevent operational lapses and last-minute disruptions
2. Retail Outlet Coordination
- Coordinate with retail store managers for promotional placements
- Ensure shelf visibility, display standards, and promotional materials are maintained
- Monitor compliance with agreed promotional terms
- Conduct routine retail checks
3. On-Trade Outlet Coordination
- Coordinate with restaurants, bars, and lounge partners
- Ensure agreed visibility, event setups, and promotional execution
- Maintain professional relationships with outlet managers
- Resolve on-ground execution challenges promptly
4. Vendor & Logistics Management
- Coordinate timely delivery and installation of promotional materials
- Ensure vendor accountability for timelines and quality
- Track material movement and dismantling post activation
- Prevent material loss or misuse
5. Monitoring & Compliance
- Conduct regular outlet visits
- Capture photographic proof of execution
- Maintain structured activation records
- Identify and rectify non-compliance
6. Reporting & Documentation
- Submit activation reports within defined timelines
- Maintain outlet-wise activation tracker
- Share observations and improvement areas
- Escalate issues proactively
7. Budget & Cost Awareness
- Execute activations within approved budgets
- Track activation-related expenses
- Minimise wastage of materials
