Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location : Mumbai

Experience Required : 8 years +

Working Days : Monday - Saturday

Job Type : Full Time

About the Role

We are looking for a senior, structured Talent Acquisition professional to independently drive hiring across business-critical and functional roles including Operations, Purchase, Finance, Accounts, Audit, and mid-to-senior management positions.

This is a high-ownership individual contributor role requiring strong evaluation capability, business understanding, and the ability to close quality hires across diverse functions.

The focus is on building stable, high-performing teams - not just filling positions.

    Key Responsibilities
     

    1. End-to-End Functional Hiring

    • Manage full recruitment lifecycle for operations, finance, audit, purchase, and management roles 
    • Drive structured screening and competency-based evaluation 
    • Coordinate multi-stage interview processes 
    • Own offer negotiation and joining confirmation

     

    2. Quality of Hire & Stability Screening

    • Evaluate candidates for role-fit, stability, and long-term alignment 
    • Assess technical competence and behavioural fit 
    • Reduce mis-hiring and early attrition 

     

    3. Senior & Mid-Level Hiring

    • Handle mid-management and senior hiring mandates 
    • Conduct structured stakeholder discussions to define role clarity 
    • Ensure alignment between business need and hiring outcome 

     

    4. Hiring Discipline & Metrics

    • Maintain hiring tracker with defined TAT 
    • Track offer-to-joining ratio 
    • Ensure minimal dropouts 
    • Provide weekly hiring status updates 

    What Success Looks Like in this Role

    • Mid and senior positions are closed within defined timelines 
    • Offer-to-joining ratio improves consistently 
    • Dropout rates reduce significantly 
    • Quality of hire strengthens team performance 
    • Hiring becomes structured, predictable, and measurable 
    • Leadership does not need to follow up repeatedly on open mandates 

    Key Skills & Competencies

    • Strong end-to-end recruitment ownership 
    • Experience hiring for functional roles (Operations, Finance, Audit, Purchase, etc.) 
    • Structured interviewing and candidate evaluation capability 
    • Strong negotiation and closure skills 
    • Ability to assess stability and cultural alignment 
    • Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills 
    • Data-driven approach to hiring metrics (TAT, offer-to-joining ratio, dropout rate) 
    • High accountability and disciplined execution 

     

Qualifications

  • 8 + years of hands-on recruitment experience.
  • Proven experience in mid-to-senior functional hiring.
  • Exposure to Pan-India hiring preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (HR specialization preferred but not mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing platforms and recruitment tools.
